Environmental Training ServicesLLC offers a variety of programs to meet your needs in the field of hazardous materials. Our courses are presented by professionals with real field experience. If you’re a member of a HAZMAT response team, a worker on a HAZWOPER site, or an employee who works with hazardous materials, we have the right course for you.
Each of our courses can be customized to meet the needs of your organization. Several of our courses are offered as open enrollment courses as well as on-site training. HAZMAT/HAZWOPER (24 or 40 hour) New Format!: This course covers all the areas addressed in the OSHA standard 1910.120. For some employees, this is required federal training. Depending on your organization's needs, you can choose either the 24 or 40 hour program. Topics covered include, health & safety, incident command, site management, personal protective equipment, decontamination, and more. This program is offered as an open enrollment course (see our Course Calendar tab) or can be customized and brought to your facility. HAZMAT/HAZWOPER Refresher (8 hour): HAZMAT trained personnel are required to have eight hours of annual refresher training. This program meets the needs of employees needing a refresher and update on skills and information. This program is offered as an open enrollment course (see our Course Calendar tab) or can be customized and brought to your facility (contact our Training Coordinator).
HAZMAT Responder (Awareness, Operations, or Incident Commander): This course will identify the roles and responsibilities of HAZMAT personnel based on the classification as Awareness, Operations, or Command personnel. Depending on the needs of your organization, choose the course that best fits your needs. If you are unsure which program is best for you, please contact our Training Coordinator. This class is currently offered only as on-site training. Please contact our Training Coordinator to discuss the benefits of bringing this program to your facility.
DOT HAZMAT Awareness: This course will bring together the regulations pertaining to hazardous materials and the rules of the Department of Transportation. Students will gain an understanding of hazardous materials, the different hazard classes, as well as packing and shipping requirements. An understanding of the HAZMAT Table is recommended for participants in this class. This program is often an annual requirement for employees or initial training for new hires.
